About Us
Welcome to the new and improved Le Port Surf School!
In 2023, we underwent an exciting change of ownership and embarked on a journey to revamp our surf school. Now a thrilling destination for water enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Today, we proudly introduce you to an adventure surf school like no other, offering not only the joy of surfing but also the thrill of coasteering and snorkelling.
Ben Le Clercq
Co-director
Meet Ben Le Clercq, with a profound commitment to both the industry and the great outdoors, he transforms each session into an unforgettable memory.
Before taking ownership at our school, Ben devoted his time to children’s services, ensuring the well-being and safety of young individuals with complex needs. His passion for safeguarding lives extended to perfecting life-saving skills with the RNLI, making him exceptionally equipped for any water-based excursion.
Whether it’s the thrill of coasteering, snorkelling tours, or the excitement of running a surf camp, Ben’s unwavering dedication to safety, coupled with his passion for adventure, ensures that every outing becomes an exhilarating and unforgettable journey.
Max Nicolas
Co-director
Max is a passionate surfer and coach who finds fulfilment not only in riding waves but also in sharing his passion with others.
He has over 10 years of experience working in the outdoor sports industry, initially as a snowboard instructor in Canada, New Zealand, and Japan. He then progressed to owning and operating his own tour company in the Philippines.
After traveling the world for the past decade, he has decided to return home and create a space where he can share his love for the ocean with his local community.
Michelle Kent
Yoga Teacher
Michelle is a Yoga Teacher and a Somatic Practitioner.
She has a huge passion to share the work of embodiment and support for others to heal and move into alignment with their true self.
This work has been totally life-changing for her. During Michelle’s yoga classes, the intention is to guide you to continuously connect with your body. This supports the mind to quieten and the nervous system to calm.
On a physical level, the yoga classes are slow paced and gentle with optional stronger postures. They are suitable for everyone, not just people who are flexible – as the common belief seems to be!
